And there we have IT—the winners of The Amazing Race Season 35 are the machine brothers 👨‍💻 (I love to call them that because they are my people), Greg and John! Surprisingly, I did not root for anyone until a minute into the final moment (the race was that close) when best friends Joel and Garrett 🧔‍♂️ were just a few seconds behind, declaring the official winners of this season—I wanted them to win. And I teared up realizing they're just too nice, not regretting the close win.

I knew that the brothers, being computer scientists 💻, physically fit 💪, with crazy memory 🧠, having built a system in place 🧮, and showcasing their French speaking skills 🗣️ two legs before the finale—all these factors make a perfect criteria for winning The Amazing Race! 🏁

Although, I must say that Rob 🤙 and Corey were a team I wanted to win, too. Rob being a deaf dad made it so inspiring to have it in history that they, too, had what it takes to join and make it to the finish line. 💯

I cannot believe that I have been a fan of this show for at least 15 years now, 🕰️ and this season just brought so many moments, proving once again why this may be the best competition reality series 🏆—an impossible dream I want to join someday. Funny how my husband, Owen (who would teasingly assert that Survivor is still way better 🙄) made a comment in one of the episodes that joining this race (although so far from reality) would lead to us fighting 💢! And probably, he's right, but sure not as hard as how Anna Leigh would treat his Dad—I mean, she's just too competitive that she cared less about his father 💔, Steve (there were so many heartbreaking moments I wished she had not treated his Dad 😔).

Definitely, what I will remember from this season is the Slovenia experience 💺, the first time that The Amazing Race featured this country. Boy, it's something I would want on my bucket list! The glider and express pass challenge--climbing to the top just to ride back on the steepest zipline in the world, were surely the most amazing features of this season 🤩!

I hope Phil lives long enough to see more seasons of The Amazing Race because it just keeps getting better. 📈
